Located in the Northeast of Spain, on the Mediterranean coast of the Iberian Peninsula, Barcelona is Spain's second largest city. The city offers a wide variety of colorful and intricate architecture created by the world famous Gaudí, the Gothic Quarter, and the pedestrian street "Las Ramblas" make this city a traveler and art lover's paradise.

Its history is beautifully reflected in the famous "Barrio Gótico", the old town district known as the Gothic Quarter for the treasures house of Gothic monuments found there. It is also the Mecca of Spain for modern art and theatre lovers. Students can admire the work of Picasso, Miró and visit the famous "Sagrada Familia". (more)

Your language vacation itinerary		Teens arrive independently into Barcelona, not in a group. They will be met at the airport and taken to their accommodation which is included on the Sunday, language courses start on Monday and finish Friday, departure day is Saturday. Teens will be studying and living with like - minded teens of a similar age from around the world, under the supervision of our staff, with rules & curfews. Teens attending this program come from all over the world, typical nationality mix: European 30%, North American 10%, Spanish 60%. The Spanish students attending are studying English so this is a great way to meet and make Spanish friends.
School location & map		Located on the UPC (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) campus in the Mediterranean Technology Park, the Barcelona camp facilities in the Pius Font i Quer student residence are surrounded by nature. There's even a lake where students can relax, go for a stroll, or exercise. All rooms, both individual and double, have air conditioning and a private bathroom. Course options & details		:: 4 GROUP LESSONS DAILY - 20 lessons per week Classes, accommodation and activities are divided in to the following age groups: 5 - 10 11 - 14 15 - 17 We accept all levels A lessons usually lasts 45 minutes Course runs Monday through Friday starting at 9am Course materials are included You will take a placement test on the first Monday Maximum 15 students per group class

Supervision, curfews & student info		Supervision level: HIGH - This is a fully supervised program 24/7 Classes, accommodation and activities are divided in to the following age groups: 5 - 10 11 - 14 15 - 17 Teens under 16 are not allowed to leave campus unaccompanied. Teens aged 16 + are allowed off campus unescorted with rules, curfews and MUST have written permission from their parents or legal guardians. In all cases this permission is based on specific days, frequency and times which are determined by each camp director. Estimated students on the immersion: 150 students Staff ratio 1 counselor for every 14 students
After class activities		Enjoy a schedule of social & cultural activities during the week with other students and weekend excursions.
