Berlin is a city of history and energy, full of excitement and forever evolving. For the past few decades, Berlin has been undergoing major rebuilding and planning efforts, which are visible in the new cityscape around Potsdamer Platz and the eastern city center. But there is also a rebuilding process taking place less visibly - in the hearts and minds of Berliners.

The city is made up of 23 different districts, each with its own unique character. Mitte, Berlin's most central district which literally means the center contains some of the city's oldest buildings as well as many of Berlin's grandest buildings, strung out like pearls along the magnificent boulevard Unter den Linden.

FAST FACTS

Your language vacation itinerary		You will book your own flights and arrive independently into Berlin. You will be met at the airport and taken to your accommodation. Your accommodation is included on the Sunday, our language courses start on Monday and finish Friday, departure day Sunday. You will be studying and living with like-minded students of a similar age from around the world, under the supervision of our staff, with rules & curfews.
School location & map		Our quaint summer camp is located in the Western part of Berlin (near Kurfuerstendammis) on a long residential boulevard close to the Fehrbelliner Platz Metro stop. Housed in a large house within it's own garden, it sleeps a maxium of 40 student.
Course options & details		:: 4 GROUP LESSONS DAILY - 20 lessons per week We accept all levels A lessons usually lasts 45 minutes Course runs Monday through Friday starting at 9am Course materials are included You will take a placement test on the first Monday Maximum 12 students per group class
Lodging options		:: RESIDENCE Private residence set within private gardens Rooms for 40 students Shared rooms (3-4 teens) Includes 3 meals daily Classes take place in the residence
Supervision, curfews & student info		Supervision level: MEDIUM Teens can go out unaccompanied in pairs or smaller groups until 10pm. Group leaders have to be informed where they are going and it must be agreed upon. Curfew: 10:00 pm (if not attending an organised event) Group leaders have the right to adjust the curfew according to external circumstances. Students on the immersion program: 40 students Staff ratio 1 counselor for every 15 students
After class activities		Enjoy a schedule of social & cultural activities during the week with other students and weekend excursions.
