NICE SUMMER PROGRAM FAST FACTS

Your language vacation itinerary		Teens arrive independently into Nice not in a group. They will be met at the airport and taken to their accommodation which is included on the Sunday, language courses start on Monday and finish Friday, departure day is Saturday. Teens will be studying and living with like - minded teens of a similar age from around the world, under the supervision of our staff, with rules & curfews. Teens attending this program come from all over the world, typical nationality mix: European 70%, North American 10%, Other 20%
Campus Information		Our summer French program takes place on 2 summer campus locations: :: Parc Impérial campus (designed for our teens who will not have permission to leave campus) July 2 - August 19, 2023 - Situated in a very quiet district, with 15 min walking distance to the beach and 20 minutes to the town center. Offers classrooms, cafeteria, swimming pool and sports fields. Teens will share rooms (3 or 4 students per room) and classes will take place on campus. Max 130 students. >> more about this campus including map :: Les Eucalyptus campus June 25 - August 12, 2023 Please note: Ages 8 through 12 will reside and take courses at this campus. It is availalable for them from July 3 - July 30, 2022. - The campus is located in a very quiet district, within 13 minutes walking distance from the beach and with free shuttles to reach the city center. Courses are held in the classrooms of the residence and clients take their meals at the residence cafeteria. Teens will share rooms (3 or 4 students per room). Max 150 students. Each student gets its own single bed, desk and wardrobe. All the bedrooms have 1 private shower, 1 private toilet and 2 washing bassins. Clean sheets are provided weekly. :: Jean Medecin - OFF CAMPUS - The courses are given at Les Eucalyptus campus, which is 5 minutes drive by school bus. July 2 - August 12, 2023 - The summer camp Jean Medecin is in an all renovated, relaxing, modern and friendly atmosphere: is at only 800 meters as the crow flies from Les Eucalyptus summer camp, where you will have lessons and meals. Free shuttles will bring you to your accommodation and back in the morning, in the afternoon and in the evening. This service is strictly reserved for our students.
Course options & details		:: 4 GROUP LESSONS DAILY - 20 lessons per week We accept all levels of French A lesson usually lasts 45 minutes Course runs Monday through Friday starting at 9am Course materials are included You will take a placement test on the first Monday Maximum 10 - 15 students per group class Please Note: Intensive lessons are also available. 26 per week. Lodging options		:: ON CAMPUS Parc Impérial campus (for ages 13-17) - Teens will share rooms (3 or 4 students per room) Les Eucalyptus campus (for ages 8-17) - Teens will share rooms (3 or 4 students per room) :: OFF CAMPUS for ages (14-17) Jean Medecin - made up of 1 70 single rooms completely renovated, a lounge area with vending machines, TV, video games, fooseball and pool table. All single rooms have a wash basin, a private shower, toilet, storage space, and a desk. Full board included. WIFI. :: HOMESTAY for ages (13-17) Travel time 10 - 30 minutes with public transport Students travel independantly or with room mate Curfew 12.30 & house rules apply Double rooms (Single available at a surcharge, please inquire) Includes 3 meals daily Packed lunches Classes take place on campus (may change depending on level)
Supervision & curfews		Supervision level: MEDIUM This is a fully supervised program 24/7: Teens under 16 are not allowed to go out in the evening unaccompanied. They are allowed to go out in the afternoon if they have written permission from their parents or legal guardians to do so. Teens aged 16 + are not allowed to go out in the evening unaccompanied unless they have obtained written permission from their parents or legal guardians to do so. In all cases, and without exception, this permission will be limited to a curfew of 12:30 am. Open to students from the ages of 8 - 17 We expect 90% of students to be non native English speakers Estimated students on the immersion: 100 - 130 students Staff ratio 1 counselor for every 15 students
After class activities		Enjoy a schedule of supervised social & cultural activities during the week on & off campus. Our program also includes a half day excursion (week days) and a full day excursion (Saturdays) every week. The team's main goal is to enable you to explore and enjoy the beautiful Mediterranean city of Nice and the local region with it's unique heritage.
